A few months ago, I came upon a blog on WordPress known as Blogatelle, another World of Warcraft roleplaying blog. I found the entries amazing, and found enjoyment in so many of the things written there. Of particular interest to me were their Play Files and their Do It Different series, both of which I will recommend any roleplayer read. When I discovered their Katafray Project, I also enjoyed it immensely. This blog had things in it that I had been so excited to find. Words cannot express my love for it. Sean and Jess had a talent for inspiring new players and making those of us who had had our feet in the water of roleplaying for many years rethink so many things.
Earlier today, however, Sean and Jess announced that they were closing their doors after a year of blogging. I am saddened by this, as I have an incredible amount of respect for Sean, Jess, and the host of other writers who contributed to the blog. While I understand the feeling of running out of things to say, I know I and many others are saddened by their decision.
Farewell, Blogatelle. You will be missed.
